This app converts your Apple iOS device into a Dog Years Calculator App.
The user clicks the Dog Years Calculator app icon then they are taken right into the app. They are greeted with a title on top which reads "Dog Years Calc", then under a label which asks "How old is your Dog?". Followed by a Text Field box for entering a number. Rite below is a button that is labeled "Get Age in Human Years". Then just under the button is a label field which is blank when the app launches. Followed by a graphic dog image in the bottom part of the app.
As the user clicks the Text Field, a Number pad pops up and then the user types in their number and hits the button to get their result. The answer is shown in a label right below the button with the following example text: "Your Dog is 83 in Human Years". The user can keep on entering different numbers to get an approximation of canine to human years. But the calculator only works from 1 to 18 in dog years. If the user puts in another number they will get an error message which reads: "This calc only works up to 18 dog years".
Note: Information found on Dogyearschart.com was used in the equation to get the human years calculation in this demo app. A switch statement was setup with information from the website to give the age conversion results. Results are on a medium-sized dog.
The Dog graphic used in the app was found on Wikipedia and the one used in the icon was found on freepik.com.
